Hi!

Summer here!

When I was 7, I aspired to be a bathing suit designer. In my early 20’s I dipped my toes in handbag design then created a fun handmade wall art business. By my 30’s I was married with 3 kids and building a successful interior design company. Now I’m entering my 40’s with a passion for travel, living a soul filled life and sharing my journey with authenticity and beauty.

I inspire women through storytelling, to show up, live better, go beyond comfort zones and have fun. I speak through the lens of travel, marriage, family, wellness and personal style.

I hope you’ll find life and truth in these pages. Please look around and find something that makes you smile or cry or both at the same time. If you haven’t already, scroll to the bottom of this page and drop your email, I promise I won’t spam you, just send you feel-good real-life stuff… sound good??

With love,

Summer

More about Summer:

Beginning in her formative years, Summer Meddock relished in artistic thinking and hands on experiences.  As a child, you could find her building sand castles on the beach, sketching bikinis with Crayola pencils and experimenting with the sewing machine.  This heart for building and creating eventually grew into business endeavors that would lightly fuel her passion for color, texture and design. Her career map covers makeup artistry, retail sales, corporate sales and marketing, product development, woodworking and interior design.

This "gentle powerhouse" has not only operated multiple businesses, but she has also been raising and homeschooling their three children while supporting her marketing genius restaurant entrepreneur husband. “The plate is always full (and often overflowing).  It has taken the willingness to drop what doesn't matter, focus on what does and the faith to keep moving and keep trusting, even when the stretch is painful."

What does the future hold for Summer creatively?

You might find her dabbling in book writing or product development (perhaps picking up where she left off in her early 20’s, designing handbags) or maybe even traveling the world developing boutique resorts. Whatever it may be, her motto “Love what you do”, will remain the catalyst for growth, experience and a life lived in purpose.
